We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter / Joiner to join our dynamic construction team in Calpe, Alicante. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, contributing to the successful completion of our diverse construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship, and a commitment to health and safety standards. You will work on various stages of construction, from initial framing to intricate finishing work, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes and other regulations.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Repair and renovate wooden structures and structural components.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all company and industry safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other construction professionals, including project managers, architects, and other tradespeople.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner in a construction setting.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and practices on a construction site.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Valid driver's license.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training certificate.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and materials.
• Knowledge of Spanish building codes and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
