We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Textile Technologist to join our innovative team in Cáceres, Extremadura. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, compliance, and technological advancement of our textile products. You will be involved in the research, development, and testing of new materials and processes, working closely with designers, production teams, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes, material science, and quality control standards. Excellent command of English is required for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct research and development of new textile materials and finishes.
• Evaluate textile properties, performance, and durability through various testing methods.
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
• Collaborate with design, product development, and production teams to integrate new technologies and processes.
• Troubleshoot textile-related issues during production and provide technical solutions.
• Manage relationships with material suppliers, ensuring quality and technical specifications are met.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on textile innovation and quality control.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in textile technology and sustainability.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in textile material research, development, or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, including weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing.
• Familiarity with international textile testing standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, AATCC).
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural team environment.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Experience with sustainable textile practices and eco-friendly material development.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for textile design or manufacturing.
