We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dedicated team in Bilbao. This role is crucial for maintaining and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our valued expat client base across the Basque Country. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal comfort and efficiency for our residential and commercial clients. You will interact directly with international clients, requiring excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components (e.g., chillers, boilers, air handling units, VRF systems).
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and execute effective repairs.
• Respond to service calls promptly, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions for various HVAC problems.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with expat clients, explaining technical issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
• Manage and maintain accurate service records, inventory of parts, and complete necessary documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards during all work operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably with exposure to diverse client needs.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their functionalities.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, essential for interacting with expat clients.
• Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., F-Gas certification where applicable).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or an associate’s degree in HVAC technology.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/Basque and English).
• Experience with smart home systems and integrated building management systems (BMS).
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Basque Country.
• Customer service experience in an international or diverse environment.
