We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Production Optimization to join our dynamic team in Valencia. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in improving manufacturing processes, optimizing production layouts, reducing waste, and enhancing overall efficiency across our production lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design, to implement innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and optimize production flow.
• Design and optimize production layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material handling systems.
• Conduct time studies and process mapping to establish standard work procedures and improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and seamless introduction into production.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives using root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone diagrams).
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost, reporting on progress and recommending corrective actions.
• Support the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on production optimization.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency in process analysis, time studies, and method improvement.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for layout design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ERP/MES systems.
• Project management experience.
