We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Founders Associate to join our dynamic team in Girona. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our investment professionals and portfolio companies, gaining deep insights into the venture capital landscape and the startup ecosystem. The Founders Associate will play a critical role in supporting our founders, conducting market research, assisting in deal sourcing and evaluation, and contributing to value creation initiatives across our portfolio. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for this international role, as you will interact with founders and partners from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
• Support the investment team in deal sourcing, screening, and due diligence processes, including financial modeling and business plan evaluation.
• Assist portfolio companies with strategic projects, operational challenges, and growth initiatives, acting as a liaison between founders and the Seaya team.
• Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and other internal documents for investment committee meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders within the startup ecosystem.
• Contribute to Seaya's thought leadership by creating content, reports, and insights on relevant industry topics.
• Facilitate workshops, events, and networking opportunities for our portfolio companies.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 proficiency required).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Demonstrated interest in technology, startups, and the venture capital industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of proactivity, organization, and attention to detail.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree or MBA.
• Previous experience (1-3 years) in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a high-growth startup environment.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other European languages is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with CRM systems and market research tools.
