We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Head of Product to lead our product strategy and execution for a key business unit within Mercado Libre. Based in our dynamic Belo Horizonte office, this role demands a strong leader with a proven track record in developing and scaling innovative digital products. You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, managing a team of product managers, and ensuring our products deliver outstanding value to our users and contribute significantly to our business goals. Fluency in English is a critical requirement for this position, as you will collaborate extensively with international teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Define, communicate, and execute the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and research to development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and inform product decisions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and successful market launches.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for products, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and user experience.
• Present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance updates to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure all product initiatives are compliant with local and international regulations where applicable.

Habilidades Requeridas

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Head of Product, Director of Product, etc.)
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and developing product teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and utilize analytics for product optimization.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce or fintech ecosystems.

• Experience working in a multinational company or across diverse cultural teams.
• Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
