We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Watchmaker – Horology to join our dedicated team in Bocagrande, Cartagena. This pivotal role involves the intricate repair, maintenance, and restoration of high-end mechanical and quartz watches from a variety of prestigious brands. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional manual dexterity, a deep understanding of horological principles, and a meticulous eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and aesthetic integrity of every timepiece entrusted to us, contributing to our reputation for excellence.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform diagnostics and assessment of watch movements and components.
• Execute complex repairs, adjustments, and complete overhauls of mechanical and quartz watches.
• Clean, lubricate, and regulate watch movements to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including mainsprings, gears, crystals, and gaskets.
• Conduct waterproofing tests and ensure the integrity of watch cases.
• Maintain a clean and organized workbench, adhering to industry best practices and safety standards.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to sales staff and customers regarding watch care and service.
• Document all services performed, parts used, and time spent accurately.
• Continuously update knowledge of new watch technologies and repair techniques.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 3 years of professional watchmaking experience.
• Exceptional manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Profound knowledge of mechanical and quartz watch movements and their functions.
• Proficiency in using specialized watchmaking tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to repairs.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal certification from a recognized horology institute (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA).
