We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our Corporate Finance team in Pedregalejo, Málaga. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our corporate finance division, playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the corporate finance department’s financial operations.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Manage the audit process, acting as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the financial aspects of corporate projects and initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with a focus on corporate finance.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of Spanish tax law and regulatory environment.
• Experience with financial modeling and business intelligence tools.
