Join Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) as an integral part of our ground operations team at Viru Viru International Airport. As Airline Ground Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of flights, passengers, and baggage. This position requires individuals who are highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced airport environment. You will be the face of BoA for many of our passengers, providing essential support and maintaining our high standards of service and safety.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including ticket verification, baggage handling, and seat assignments.
  • Provide information to passengers regarding flight schedules, boarding gates, and airport facilities.
  • Guide passengers to and from aircraft, ensuring a safe and orderly boarding and deplaning process.
  • Coordinate with flight crews, baggage handlers, and other airport personnel to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
  • Handle passenger inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance to passengers with special needs.
  • Monitor and manage baggage claim areas, assisting passengers with lost or damaged luggage reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and security procedures.
  • Operate airport equipment as required (e.g., jet bridges, baggage carts) after proper training.
  • Prepare flight documentation and perform administrative tasks as needed.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry baggage (up to 20kg)

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Previous experience in customer service or aviation
  • Fluency in English (in addition to Spanish)
  • Knowledge of airline operations and airport procedures
  • A diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field
