We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fuengirola. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, specification, and supervision of mechanical and electrical building services systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and hospitality developments. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment. Fluency in English is essential for liaising with international clients and project teams.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Design and specify HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, electrical power, lighting, and communication systems for building projects.
• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate building services designs.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and commissioning phases.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building services design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, UNE standards).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with sustainability concepts and green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with dynamic thermal modeling software.
• Project management experience.
