We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Copy Editor / Proofreader to join our remote content team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Spain. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of our English-language educational materials and digital content. Your keen eye for detail will help maintain Pearson’s high standards of quality, contributing to effective learning experiences worldwide. Responsabilidades Clave

• Review and edit a wide range of English-language content, including textbooks, digital learning modules, marketing materials, and internal communications, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and style.
• Ensure all content adheres to established style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, APA, specific Pearson house styles) and brand guidelines.
• Fact-check basic information and flag any potential inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
• Proofread final layouts to catch any errors missed during earlier editing stages.
• Provide constructive feedback to content creators and subject matter experts.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Proven ability to apply various style guides consistently and accurately.
• Superior attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying errors.
