We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Educational Technologist to join our vibrant team at the Huesca campus. This pivotal role involves collaborating with faculty members to integrate cutting-edge educational technologies into curricula, enhance teaching methodologies, and improve the overall student learning experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pedagogical principles, a passion for technology, and excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English being essential to support our international programs and faculty. You will be instrumental in exploring, implementing, and evaluating new digital tools and platforms, ensuring their effective and accessible use across various disciplines. This is an an on-site position at our Huesca campus, requiring close collaboration with academic departments.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide expert consultation and support to faculty on the effective use of learning technologies and instructional design principles.
• Design, develop, and deliver training workshops and resources for faculty and staff on new educational tools and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies, software, and platforms to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT services to ensure the smooth operation and integration of learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools.
• Assist in the creation and curation of engaging digital learning materials, including multimedia content.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in educational technology and apply relevant findings to university initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of online and blended learning courses.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software and platforms for faculty and students.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas)
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
• Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., video editing, graphic design software)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Experience in higher education settings
• Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital content (e.g., WCAG)
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Certification in specific educational technologies or platforms
