We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geologist / Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Ronda, Spain. This role involves conducting geological investigations, environmental surveys, and land surveying activities for various projects across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Fluency in English is a critical requirement for effective communication within our international project teams and with global clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to sustainable development solutions.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Conduct field surveys, geological mapping, and site investigations.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and LiDAR scanners.
- Collect, process, and interpret geological and geospatial data.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and presentations.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate findings effectively.
- Assist in the development of project proposals and methodologies.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in geological investigation and/or land surveying techniques.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments (GPS, total station, level).
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field and office environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., Chartered Geologist, Licensed Surveyor).
- Experience with environmental site assessments or geotechnical investigations.
- Knowledge of Spanish or other European languages.
- Experience with remote sensing data processing.
- Familiarity with relevant local and international industry standards.
