We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Global Mobility Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is crucial in supporting our international workforce, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance for our employees on global assignments. You will manage various aspects of global mobility, including immigration, relocation, and tax equalization, providing expert guidance and support to assignees and business stakeholders.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Coordinate and manage international assignments from initiation to repatriation, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
- Oversee and manage immigration processes, including visa applications, work permits, and residency requirements, collaborating with external immigration counsel.
- Assist with international tax equalization, social security implications, and tax compliance for assignees, working closely with tax advisors.
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance to assignees on global mobility policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Liaise effectively with external vendors such as relocation companies, tax consultants, and immigration lawyers.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, immigration regulations, and company global mobility policies.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to global assignments, preparing reports as required.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for international communication.
- Strong foundational understanding of global mobility principles, practices, and industry trends.
- Proven experience with international immigration procedures and requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish or Catalan to effectively communicate with local stakeholders.
- Previous experience with global mobility management software or HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of Spanish labor, tax, and immigration laws pertaining to international assignments.
