We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics facility during your assigned shift. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing a team of logistics operatives, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities in English to manage diverse teams and client requirements.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Supervise daily warehouse and logistics operations during your assigned shift, ensuring targets are met.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of logistics operatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock management, and oversee inbound and outbound shipments.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present shift reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Handle immediate operational issues and escalate complex problems to senior management when necessary.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for communication with international teams and clients.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with automated warehouse systems.
