We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Night Auditor to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours, providing a seamless experience for our guests and accurate financial reconciliation for the hotel. The Night Auditor acts as the main point of contact for guests during the night, handles late check-ins and early check-outs, and performs essential accounting tasks. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to exceptional guest service, even in the quietest hours.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform all nightly audit functions, including balancing daily revenue and expense transactions.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously during overnight shifts.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to various departments.
• Maintain security of the hotel and safety of guests during the night.
• Monitor and respond to alarm systems and emergency situations.
• Ensure accurate room availability and reservations are maintained.
• Perform light administrative duties and prepare for the morning shift.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data security.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS), ideally Opera.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Basque is a plus.
• Ability to handle demanding situations calmly and effectively.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or Front Desk Agent in a luxury hotel environment.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Familiarity with local attractions and services in San Sebastián.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
