We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist / Front Desk representative to be the first point of contact for our international corporate office in Polanco, Ciudad de México. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our clients, visitors, and employees. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional administrative support within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Greet and welcome guests and clients warmly as soon as they arrive at the office, directing them to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, brochures).
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms, and assisting with data entry.
- Assist in the coordination of corporate events and meetings.
- Handle office equipment maintenance requests and liaise with vendors.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (12 months minimum)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service orientation
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency (English and Spanish required, additional languages a plus)
- Experience in an international corporate environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
