We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Stagehand / Event Rigger to join our dynamic team in Roses, Catalonia. This role is crucial for the successful setup, operation, and teardown of a wide variety of live events, including concerts, conferences, theatrical productions, and corporate gatherings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical capability to handle various tasks associated with event production. While basic Spanish can be helpful, it is NOT required for this position; all essential communication and training will be provided in English. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the live events industry to grow their skills in a supportive and international environment.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist with the loading and unloading of event equipment, including lighting, audio, video, and staging elements.
• Participate in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, stage sets, and rigging systems.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines for all tasks, especially when working at heights or with heavy machinery.
• Operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support technical teams during events, including repositioning equipment and making minor adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and event managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment as instructed.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights (e.g., on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding) with appropriate safety gear.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
• Basic understanding of tools and their safe usage.
• Willingness to travel locally within the Roses area and surrounding regions as required.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience as a stagehand, rigger, or in a similar production role.
• Knowledge of basic rigging principles and equipment (e.g., chain hoists, truss systems).
• Certification in relevant safety training (e.g., working at heights, manual handling).
• Experience with AV, lighting, or sound equipment setup.
• A valid driver's license.
