We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our IT documentation team in Jerez de la Frontera. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for our various IT systems, applications, and processes. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, system architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all technical content. This position is crucial for enhancing user understanding, streamlining operations, and supporting our internal teams with comprehensive and accessible information.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, system specifications, and process flows.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and define documentation requirements.
• Translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for various audiences.
• Ensure documentation adheres to established company standards, style guides, and branding guidelines.
• Manage documentation lifecycle, including planning, creation, review, publishing, and archiving.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to other technical writers.
• Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated on industry best practices for technical writing and information design.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an IT or software development environment (2+ years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of IT concepts, software development lifecycles, and technical terminology.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker) and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) for documentation.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating diagrams and illustrations (e.g., Visio, Draw.io).
• Knowledge of markup languages such as XML or Markdown.
• Certification in technical writing or a related field.
