We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join our team in Marbella, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of welding processes and finished products according to international codes, standards, and client specifications. This role requires strong English language skills to communicate effectively with international teams and clients.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform visual inspection of welds before, during, and after welding operations.
• Review and interpret welding procedure specifications (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualification records (WQR).
• Monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with specified procedures, drawings, and codes.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) such as Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) or Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) as required.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspection activities.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and welding personnel to resolve any technical issues or non-conformities.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to welding quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance on welding-related matters.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Certified Welding Inspector (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, EWE/IWE)
• Proficiency in interpreting international welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, EN/ISO)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Welding Inspector in industrial projects (e.g., oil & gas, construction, manufacturing)
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for technical communication
• Strong knowledge of various welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW)
• Ability to perform visual inspection and basic NDT methods
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Valid driver's license

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Additional NDT certifications (e.g., UT, RT film interpretation)
• Experience with specific materials (e.g., stainless steel, high-alloy steels)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
