Fraser Yachts is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as Yacht Deckhands and Marina Workers. While our primary recruitment hub is located in Salamanca, this role involves working directly on yachts or within high-end marinas primarily located along the Spanish coast (e.g., Costa del Sol, Balearic Islands) and potentially broader Mediterranean regions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the marine industry to gain hands-on experience and build a career with a prestigious global company.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist with the safe mooring and unmooring of yachts.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the yacht's exterior and interior (washing, waxing, polishing, varnishing).
- Handle lines, fenders, and other deck equipment proficiently.
- Support guests and crew with embarkation, disembarkation, and on-board activities.
- Monitor safety equipment and assist in emergency drills.
- Maintain inventory of deck supplies and equipment.
- Assist with minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere on board or within the marina.
- Participate in tender operations and watersports activities as required.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills (English required, Spanish preferred).
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Basic knowledge of knot tying and line handling (training provided).
- Flexibility to travel and work in various coastal locations.
- Valid passport and eligibility to work in the EU.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- STCW basic safety training certification.
- Powerboat Level 2 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a marine environment (e.g., sailing, watersports, fishing).
- Hospitality or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
