We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist for Expats to join our dynamic team in Fuenlabrada. In this crucial role, you will be the primary point of contact for our international employees relocating to Spain, ensuring a seamless and positive transition. Your expertise will be vital in guiding expats through various administrative and logistical processes, from visa applications and housing assistance to local registration and cultural integration. This position requires an English native speaker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals moving to a new country. You will play a key role in making our new international hires feel welcomed, supported, and ready to contribute to our success from day one.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for international employees (expats), ensuring a smooth transition to Spain.
  • Provide comprehensive support with visa applications, work permits, and residency registrations.
  • Assist expats with finding suitable accommodation, setting up utilities, and understanding local rental agreements.
  • Guide new hires through local administrative procedures such as obtaining NIE numbers, social security registration, and opening bank accounts.
  • Offer cultural orientation and integration support to help expats adapt to life in Spain.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for expat inquiries, offering timely and accurate information and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, and other internal departments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date onboarding materials, guides, and resources tailored for international employees.
  • Collect feedback from expats to continuously improve the onboarding experience and identify areas for enhancement.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (B2 level or higher) is essential for effective communication with local authorities and service providers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity, with an understanding of challenges faced by expats.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Previous experience (1+ year) in an HR, global mobility, relocation, or customer service role, preferably with an international focus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Spanish immigration laws, administrative processes, and local services.
  • Experience living or working abroad as an expat.
