We are seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Strategist to join our international marketing team. This role is crucial for enhancing Meliá Hotels International’s global brand presence across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy in alignment with our international marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global social media trends, an ability to create engaging content, and a proven track record of driving brand growth and engagement for an international brand.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with global marketing objectives for various international markets.
  • Manage and oversee all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, WeChat, Weibo) and ensure brand consistency.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) for international audiences.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Analyze social media data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with international marketing teams, creative agencies, and regional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends, especially those relevant to global markets.
  • Develop and manage a social media content calendar for international campaigns.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and brand ambassadors across different regions.
  • Train and guide internal teams on social media best practices.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role for an international brand (minimum 3 years).
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in at least one other major language (e.g., Spanish, German, Mandarin).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising campaigns across different platforms.

  • Experience with cross-cultural communication and marketing strategies.
