We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our dynamic team in Madrid. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. You will work closely with various internal departments and external partners, utilizing your analytical skills to solve logistical challenges and improve overall efficiency. Fluency in English is essential, and Spanish is a significant advantage.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Plan and optimize daily transport routes, considering vehicle capacity, delivery schedules, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth execution of transport plans.
• Monitor transport operations in real-time and resolve any issues or delays proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and company policies.
• Analyze transport data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
• Prepare reports on transport performance, costs, and efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and other logistics partners.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transport department.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Transport Planner or similar role (minimum 2 years).
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of transport logistics and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish (highly advantageous).
• Experience with international transport regulations.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Spanish logistics market.
