We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Dry Ice Packer to join our perishables shipping team in Costa Adeje. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the precise and safe packing of sensitive, temperature-controlled goods using dry ice, ensuring their integrity from our facility to their destination. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your contribution will directly impact the quality and timely delivery of critical shipments, making this a vital role in our logistics chain.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Accurately pack perishable goods into specialized containers, utilizing the correct quantity and placement of dry ice.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately.
• Label packages correctly with all necessary shipping information, hazard warnings, and temperature requirements.
• Monitor dry ice levels and storage, ensuring proper handling and replenishment according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company and regulatory safety standards.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet shipping deadlines and quality standards.
• Complete necessary documentation and records for all packed shipments.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols, especially concerning hazardous materials like dry ice.
• Ability to work effectively in a cold environment for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
