Lionbridge is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Proofreaders/Editors to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and refining English content across various projects, ensuring impeccable grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy. This is a remote, contract-based position perfect for individuals who thrive in a flexible work environment and possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for language quality.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Proofread and edit English content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and stylistic consistency.
• Ensure all content adheres to specified style guides and client requirements.
• Verify factual accuracy and consistency of information presented.
• Collaborate with project managers and other linguists to maintain high quality standards.
• Meet deadlines for assigned projects efficiently and accurately.
• Provide constructive feedback and apply revisions as necessary.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Native-level proficiency in English with exceptional grammar and syntax skills.
• Proven experience in proofreading and editing professional content.
• Strong understanding of various style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, MLA, AP).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with common word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
