We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of facility operations for our client site in Plasencia, Extremadura. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment, managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and leading a small team. This role requires strong communication skills, particularly in English, to interact with diverse stakeholders and ensure service delivery meets international standards. You will be a key point of contact for all facility-related matters, working to optimize operational costs and enhance the overall workplace experience.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and space management.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal functionality of all building systems and equipment.
- Manage a portfolio of service providers and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with SLAs.
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, control expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies, coordinating necessary repairs and services.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of facility support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address potential issues.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, expenses, and ongoing projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and internal stakeholders in English and Spanish.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role for at least 3 years.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) to a professional level.
- Strong understanding of facility management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Facilities Management (e.g., FMP, CFM).
- Proficiency in Spanish to communicate with local suppliers and staff.
- Experience working in a multi-national company or managing international client accounts.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems.
