We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join our growing Green Tech team in Alicante. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and optimization of renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar and wind technologies. You will play a crucial part in evaluating project feasibility, ensuring technical compliance, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to maximize energy efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in renewable energy principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for environmental innovation.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Design and develop renewable energy systems, primarily solar PV and wind power projects.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy yield analyses.
• Prepare technical specifications, engineering drawings, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of renewable assets.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, industry standards, and strict safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project execution and provide essential technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Research and evaluate new renewable energy technologies, market trends, and innovative solutions.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in renewable energy design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, WindPRO, ETAP).
• Strong understanding of solar PV and/or wind turbine technologies, including grid integration challenges.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, and various energy storage solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Sustainable Energy Systems, Power Engineering).
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• Familiarity with GIS tools for detailed site analysis and resource assessment.
• Professional certification such as PMP, LEED AP, or a relevant engineering license.
• Demonstrated experience with energy modeling and simulation tools beyond basic design software.
