Are you passionate about languages and cultural exchange? EF Education First in Platja d’Aro is looking for enthusiastic and outgoing Language Assistants / Conversation Partners to support our students in developing their English (or other specified language) conversational skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience, meet people from around the world, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment. You will facilitate informal conversations, cultural discussions, and provide practical language assistance in a supportive setting.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Engage students in informal conversations to practice their target language skills.
• Facilitate group discussions on various topics, encouraging active participation.
• Provide constructive feedback on pronunciation and vocabulary usage.
• Help students build confidence in using the target language in real-world scenarios.
• Share insights into local culture and customs, fostering cultural exchange.
• Assist with organizing and leading casual social activities focused on language practice.
• Be a friendly and approachable resource for students seeking language support.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Native or near-native fluency in English (or the language specified for assistance).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in helping others learn.
• Ability to adapt to different student levels and learning styles.
• Currently enrolled in a higher education program (university, college, vocational school).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or leading conversation groups.
• Proficiency in additional languages, especially Spanish or Catalan.
• A background or interest in linguistics, education, or cultural studies.
