We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of our dynamic software development teams in Ronda, Spain. This role is crucial for driving technical excellence, fostering team growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven leadership abilities, and exceptional English communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and international teams.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the career growth of team members.
• Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and making critical architectural decisions when necessary.
• Promote a positive and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proficiency in modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Strong technical background in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) and relevant frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex software projects and delivering high-quality products on schedule.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for international collaboration.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field or MBA.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD).
• Experience in a specific industry sector relevant to Indra's business (e.g., Transport, Defence, Energy).
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
