We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of cabinet making, from initial design interpretation and material selection to precise cutting, assembly, finishing, and installation. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. As this position involves working on international projects and potentially with a diverse team, excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and select appropriate materials.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden articles such as cabinets, furniture, and fixtures.
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform precise joinery techniques to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Apply finishes, veneers, and laminates to prepared surfaces.
• Install finished cabinets and fixtures on-site, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively in English regarding project details, challenges, and solutions.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Expertise in operating woodworking machinery (table saws, routers, planers, jointers) and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of various wood types, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Exceptional precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle materials and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in cabinet making or woodworking.
• Experience with CAD software for design and cutting lists.
• Knowledge of bespoke furniture design and construction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
