We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assessment Writer to join our Test Development team in Benalmádena. In this role, you will be instrumental in the creation, review, and refinement of assessment items across various subjects and educational levels. You will work closely with subject matter experts, psychometricians, and project managers to ensure the validity, reliability, and fairness of our tests. Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop high-quality, clear, and concise assessment items (e.g., multiple-choice, constructed-response) according to test specifications and content outlines.
• Review and revise assessment items written by others, ensuring adherence to psychometric principles, content standards, and editorial guidelines.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate content accuracy and appropriateness for target audiences.
• Participate in item review meetings, incorporating feedback from diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain strict security and confidentiality protocols for all test content.
• Contribute to the development of item writing guidelines and training materials.
• Conduct research to stay informed about best practices in educational measurement and assessment development.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C2 proficiency).
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct content.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with educational testing principles and psychometrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, a relevant subject matter, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Educational Measurement, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Experience with various assessment item types and platforms.
• Knowledge of assessment standards and regulations (e.g., AERA, APA, NCME Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing).
• Experience in teaching or curriculum development.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
