We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sustainability Officer to join our team in Jerez de la Frontera. This role is crucial for advancing Unilever’s ambitious sustainability agenda within our Spanish operations, focusing on environmental impact reduction, resource efficiency, and ethical sourcing. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and monitoring sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and driving continuous improvement across our value chain. Fluency in English is essential for global collaboration and reporting.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability programs and initiatives aligned with Unilever's global targets and local regulations.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and resource efficiency audits across operational sites.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on sustainability performance, including energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, R&D) to integrate sustainability practices into daily operations.
• Stay informed about new sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices, proposing innovative solutions.
• Organize and deliver training and awareness programs for employees on sustainability topics.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, local authorities, and NGOs, on sustainability matters.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, licenses, and reporting requirements.
• Support the development and communication of Unilever's sustainability narrative internally and externally.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a sustainability-focused role, preferably within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) for international reporting and communication.
• Strong understanding of environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).
