We are seeking a skilled and passionate Furniture Restorer to join our expert team in Granada. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship and customer service, particularly for our international clientele. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the restoration of various types of furniture, possess an excellent eye for detail, and be fluent in English to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and suppliers. You will be responsible for a wide array of restoration tasks, from structural repairs to delicate finishes, ensuring each piece is treated with the utmost care and professionalism.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assess the condition of antique and rustic furniture to determine the scope of restoration work required.
• Execute structural repairs, including joinery, veneering, and component replacement.
• Perform surface preparation, cleaning, stripping, and sanding.
• Apply traditional and modern finishing techniques, such as French polishing, waxing, and lacquering.
• Match colors and textures to ensure seamless repairs and authentic restoration.
• Manage workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and used safely.
• Document restoration processes and maintain detailed records of materials used and hours spent.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining restoration plans, progress, and maintenance advice in English.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects and share expertise.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in furniture restoration techniques, including carpentry, veneering, and finishing.
• Demonstrable experience with a variety of wood types and construction methods.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
