We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter / Joiner to join our dynamic construction team in La Zenia, Alicante. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, from structural framing to fine finishing, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative construction crew on various residential and commercial projects.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, frames, flooring, trim, and hardware.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all company and site-specific health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members, including site managers, engineers, and other tradespeople.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate power and hand tools safely and effectively.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment (e.g., saws, hammers, drills, sanders).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or relevant certification in carpentry.
• Experience with various types of wood and composite materials.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Basic knowledge of other construction trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical).
