We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team at an English-speaking manufacturing plant located in Ronda, Málaga. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical process optimization, design, and operational excellence within a global chemical leader. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical processes, contributing to both daily tasks and long-term strategic projects. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within our diverse and international plant environment.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and equipment to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Monitor and analyze plant operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct process simulations, material balances, and energy balances.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to production teams.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and cost reduction projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, maintenance, and quality control.
• Prepare technical reports, project proposals, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mass transfer.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, PRO/II).
• Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Previous experience in a multinational chemical manufacturing environment.
