We are seeking a skilled and certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team in Sitges, Catalonia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy-duty cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency, ensuring all operations comply with industry standards and project specifications. You will work closely with site managers, riggers, and other team members to ensure smooth and safe execution of construction tasks. Previous experience with different crane types and complex lifting operations is highly valued.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Operate heavy-duty cranes (e.g., mobile cranes, tower cranes) to lift, move, and place materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks and daily maintenance on crane equipment to ensure safe and optimal functioning.
• Read and interpret load charts, crane signals, and project blueprints to plan lifts accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety plans.
• Communicate effectively with riggers, signal persons, and site management during lifting operations.
• Inspect rigging equipment and ensure proper load securement.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety incidents, or potential hazards immediately.
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of cranes as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment around the crane area.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Valid Crane Operator certification for heavy machinery.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction.
• Thorough knowledge of crane operations, load capacities, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand load charts and lifting plans.
• Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Physical fitness to perform job duties, including climbing and working at heights.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Experience with multiple types of cranes (e.g., tower, mobile, crawler).
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan language.
• Familiarity with construction projects in urban or coastal environments.
• Additional heavy equipment operator certifications.
