We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Site Maintenance to join our dynamic team in Elche, Alicante. This pivotal role involves the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a diverse fleet of heavy construction and industrial equipment directly at client sites or in our workshop. Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections on various heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and material handling machinery.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and technical schematics.
• Execute on-site emergency repairs and field service at client locations, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime.
• Interpret and utilize technical manuals, service bulletins, and parts catalogs effectively.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and service activities accurately and completely in our system.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and internal teams regarding equipment status and repair progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including company vehicles and tools.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to equipment operators when necessary.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, power trains, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and specialized testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company service vehicles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy components, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Technical degree or vocational certification in Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Diesel Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with specific heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, or JCB.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish for effective local communication.
• Knowledge of fleet management software systems.
