Maersk is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Planner to join our dynamic team in Villajoyosa, Spain. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing the flow of goods and information within our supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to our global customers. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for logistics, regardless of Spanish language proficiency, as our working environment is primarily English-speaking. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our logistics operations, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and implement efficient logistics plans for domestic and international shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and warehouses to ensure optimal stock.
• Negotiate with carriers and service providers to secure competitive rates and reliable services.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays that may arise, proactively communicating with stakeholders.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics performance and present findings to management.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant international and local logistics regulations and customs procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and procurement teams to align logistics strategies with business goals.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience (at least 2 years) in logistics planning, coordination, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this international role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
• Knowledge of the Spanish logistics market or European logistics landscape.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or project management.
• Experience working in a multicultural or international business environment.
