We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities at our manufacturing plant in Empuriabrava. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production outcomes, leading a team of production associates, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
• Train, mentor, and develop production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage raw material inventory, finished goods, and equipment maintenance schedules in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, performance metrics, and shift logs.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, lean manufacturing initiatives, and problem-solving efforts.
• Communicate effectively with other supervisors, management, and support departments to ensure smooth operations.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, safety protocols, and quality control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000) specific to the food and beverage industry.
• Familiarity with automated production lines and industrial machinery.
