We are seeking a skilled and versatile Plumber / Pipefitter with handyman capabilities to join our dynamic maintenance team in Valencia. This role involves performing a wide range of plumbing and pipefitting tasks, as well as general handyman duties, to ensure the optimal functioning of our clients’ facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance schedules across various commercial and industrial sites.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage.
• Perform pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, welding, and joining various types of pipes (copper, PVC, steel).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure.
• Execute general handyman duties such as minor electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general building fabric maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Collaborate effectively with other maintenance technicians and facility staff.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with various pipe materials and joining techniques.
• Ability to perform general handyman tasks (basic electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or relevant certification in plumbing or pipefitting.
• Experience working in a facilities management environment.
• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS).
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• First Aid certification.
