DSV Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Reus, Spain. This critical role involves ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods, as well as operational processes, meet our rigorous quality standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, as this is a key requirement for interaction with our diverse international network and documentation.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Monitor and verify critical control points within the logistics and storage processes.
• Identify and isolate non-conforming products or processes, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding quality findings and requirements, predominantly in English.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and report generation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items as needed in a warehouse environment.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in quality control, logistics, or a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan.
• Forklift certification or ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Relevant certifications in quality inspection.
