We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Social Media Moderator to join our remote team. As a Social Media Moderator, you will be the frontline of our online communities, ensuring a positive and safe environment for our users. You will monitor various social media platforms, engage with our audience, enforce community guidelines, and escalate any critical issues. This role is crucial for maintaining our brand reputation and fostering a vibrant online presence.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Monitor user-generated content across all designated social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and brand safety standards.
- Engage actively with community members, responding to comments, questions, and private messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify, report, and escalate critical issues, including spam, abuse, misinformation, and other high-risk content.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, legal) to address complex inquiries and provide consistent messaging.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of moderation policies and best practices.
- Analyze social media trends and provide insights to improve content strategy and community engagement.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on platform changes and company policies.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Excellent written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Proven ability to manage and moderate online communities effectively.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Exceptional conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- High level of empathy and discretion in handling sensitive topics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in online conversations.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Previous experience in social media moderation, community management, or customer service.
- Familiarity with moderation tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of an additional language, particularly Valencian, is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, digital environment.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
