We are seeking an exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our acclaimed international fine dining restaurant. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our guests’ dining experience through expert wine recommendations, impeccable service, and a deep understanding of our extensive wine and beverage program. This role requires not only a profound expertise in viticulture but also an innate ability to connect with guests, guiding them through our selections with grace and enthusiasm. You will be responsible for maintaining the cellar, managing inventory, and contributing to the ongoing development of our beverage offerings.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide expert wine and beverage recommendations to guests, pairing selections perfectly with our culinary offerings.
• Manage and maintain the restaurant's wine cellar, ensuring optimal storage conditions, inventory accuracy, and organization.
• Conduct daily wine service, including proper decanting, pouring, and presentation according to fine dining standards.
• Educate and train service staff on wine knowledge, pairing principles, and beverage service protocols.
• Oversee wine procurement, working with suppliers to source exceptional and unique wines that align with our restaurant's philosophy.
• Monitor wine stock levels, conduct regular inventories, and minimize waste.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wine list, exploring new trends and regions.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Demonstrable expertise in wine knowledge, including regions, vintages, varietals, and production methods.
• Proven experience in a fine dining environment as a Sommelier.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and inventory management abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering impeccable service.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• WSET Level 3 Advanced or Diploma certification (or equivalent sommelier certification).
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, German, Italian).
• Experience with cellar management software.
• Knowledge of local and international craft beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage trends.
