We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the culinary team of our acclaimed expat restaurant located in the prestigious Salamanca district of Madrid. This role is perfect for a talented chef looking to immerse themselves in Madrid’s vibrant food scene while contributing to a menu that celebrates international flavors and caters to a discerning global clientele. Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control.
• Oversee and manage the kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and HACCP procedures.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs.
• Maintain a high standard of food presentation and taste, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
• Contribute to menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques relevant to international cuisine.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume, quality restaurant.
• Proven expertise in international or multi-cuisine cooking.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair and passion for culinary arts.
• Fluency in English.
