We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Wine Tasting Host to join our team at the Bodegas Málaga Virgen Visitors Center. This role is crucial in delivering an authentic and engaging experience for all our guests. You will be responsible for guiding visitors through our winery, educating them about our wines, and leading engaging tasting sessions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for wine, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent a historic brand and share the joy of Spanish wine with an international audience.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct engaging and informative wine tasting sessions for individuals and groups.
• Lead guided tours of the winery, explaining the history, production process, and unique characteristics of Bodegas Málaga Virgen.
• Educate guests on different wine varietals, food pairings, and proper wine etiquette.
• Process sales of wine, merchandise, and tasting experiences using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room and visitors center.
• Assist with special events, private tastings, and corporate functions as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing guest concerns.
• Keep up-to-date with company products, promotions, and general wine industry knowledge.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Strong passion for wine and the wine industry.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, Microsoft Office).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or wine retail.
• Knowledge of Andalusian wines and viticulture.
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, German, Mandarin).
• WSET Level 1 or equivalent wine certification.
