We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scaffolding Supervisor to join our team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all scaffolding operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and fluent English communication skills to effectively manage international project requirements and diverse teams.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Supervise and coordinate the safe and efficient erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity, stability, and compliance with safety standards before and during use.
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to scaffolding teams, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and other trades to plan and execute scaffolding requirements.
• Manage scaffolding materials and equipment, ensuring availability, proper storage, and maintenance.
• Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to ensure all team members are aware of potential hazards and safe work procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections, modifications, and team attendance.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards on site, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Scaffolding Supervisor in a construction or industrial environment.
• Extensive knowledge of various scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and fitting, system scaffolding) and relevant safety standards (e.g., EN standards, local regulations).
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written, capable of clear and effective communication in a professional setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and scaffolding design plans.
• Valid scaffolding supervisor certification from a recognized authority.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Proficiency in Spanish language.
• Additional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA equivalent).
• Experience working on large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver's license.
