We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Ski Resort Lift Operators for the upcoming winter season. As a Lift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts, providing a positive experience for all resort guests. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying winter weather conditions.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Operate various types of ski lifts (chairlifts, T-bars, gondolas) safely and efficiently.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading from lifts, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Perform routine pre-operational checks and ongoing monitoring of lift equipment.
• Maintain clear and safe loading/unloading zones, including snow shoveling and raking.
• Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions, and offer assistance as needed.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations, educating guests on appropriate lift usage.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors regarding lift status, safety concerns, and guest feedback.
• Assist with basic lift maintenance tasks under supervision, as required.
• Participate in emergency procedures and drills to ensure guest safety.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, and work outdoors in cold, wet, or snowy conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Customer-service oriented mindset.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience in a ski resort or outdoor recreation setting.
• Basic knowledge of ski lift operations or mechanics.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan.
• First Aid certification.
