Acciona is seeking a dedicated and visionary Urban Planner to join our dynamic City Planning team in Cartagena. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of urban master plans, zoning regulations, and sustainable development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of urban design principles, land use planning, and environmental regulations, with a passion for creating livable and resilient communities. You will work on various projects, from residential developments to large-scale infrastructure, ensuring alignment with municipal goals and community needs.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct research and analysis on land use, demographic trends, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
• Develop and revise urban plans, zoning ordinances, and design guidelines in accordance with local, regional, and national policies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and maps using GIS and other planning software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, environmental specialists, and other stakeholders to integrate various project components.
• Facilitate public engagement meetings and workshops to gather community input and build consensus.
• Evaluate proposed development projects for compliance with planning regulations and impact on urban fabric.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved plans and sustainability objectives.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of Spanish planning law and environmental regulations (e.g., LOUA, PGOU).
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., Member of the Association of Spanish Planners).
• Experience with sustainable urban development projects and smart city initiatives.
