We are seeking a talented and experienced Sound Engineer / DJ to join our dynamic team in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife. This pivotal role involves managing all audio aspects of our high-energy expat nightclubs, from live sound engineering to curating electrifying DJ sets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sound systems, a passion for diverse music genres popular with international crowds, and the ability to create an unforgettable auditory experience.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot professional audio equipment, including mixing consoles, speakers, amplifiers, and microphones.
• Perform live sound engineering for various performers and events within the nightclub.
• Curate and mix engaging DJ sets, catering to the musical preferences of an international expat and tourist clientele.
• Manage music libraries, ensuring a diverse and up-to-date selection of tracks across popular genres (e.g., Pop, R&B, House, Latin, Commercial Dance).
• Collaborate with event managers and artists to ensure seamless audio production for all performances.
• Conduct regular sound checks and preventative maintenance on all audio systems.
• Provide technical support during live events and ensure optimal sound quality throughout the venue.
• Stay current with industry trends in music and audio technology.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Sound Engineer and DJ, preferably in a nightclub or live music venue.
• Expertise in operating and maintaining professional audio equipment (digital and analog mixing consoles, PA systems).
• Proven track record of successful DJing with an extensive music knowledge tailored to international audiences.
• Proficiency with DJ software (e.g., rekordbox, Serato DJ) and hardware (CDJs, controllers).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for audio issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Certification in Audio Engineering or a related field.
